Oh goodness, Alanna has done it again!! She has created a sucker recipe that we just HAVE to share with you all! Introducing Marshmallow and Dried Lavender suckers! Don’t those just sound amazing? Well guess what, they are!! We kinda think these are what winter dreams are made of! They are the prettiest and perfect little treat to share with the ones you love this holiday season!  Give them a try, we know you’ll love them!

Ingredients:

2 Cups Granulated Sugar

2/3 Cup Light Corn Syrup

3/4 Cup Water

1 Dram (1tsp.) LorAnn Gourmet Marshmallow flavoring

Mini Marshmallows

Dried Lavender (crushed)

Powder Sugar (optional)

Candy Sucker Molds

Directions:

Combine sugar, corn syrup, and water into 2 quart saucepan. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Bring mixture to a boil without stirring.

While the mixture is boiling, spray molds lightly with oil, place mini marshmallows into the candy molds. Also, place crushed dried lavender in molds as well.

Remove from heat at 300 degrees. After boiling action ceases stir in flavoring. AVOID rising steam when stirring. Pour syrup into lightly oiled candy mold (I found all my fun ones at Hobby Lobby) or onto greased cookie sheet and score with knife to form bite size pieces. When cool, break into pieces and dust with powder sugar (optional) to prevent sticking and store in an air tight container. Will keep for 2 weeks.

With LOVE,

Alanna, Natalie, and Lyndsie
