Dreamy White Winter Party

Hey guys Alanna here. With the winter blues starting to hit full force we decided to turn those frowns upside down with this Dreamy White Winter Party!!! And how suiting is this especially on a Snow White day like today.

Here are all the details for the party:

First, we made a medium naked cake (used two, 8 inch pans to bake the cake) topped it with cute woodland animals we found at Target and strung together some adorable mini felt balls we got from Ballsie.

We also made a few mini white naked cakes        (used two, 3 inch pans -also found these at target) and were too lazy to make buttercream frosting so we bought a huge tub of it at Hobby Lobby and it was delicious! We then made some adorable cake toppers for these as well using the white felt balls.

We then dipped giant marshmallows in white chocolate and used white glitter sprinkles to give them a little more shimmer. Aren’t they beautiful?

While our Dipped marshmallows were setting, we made little white chocolates with gold edible glitter stars. (found at hobby lobby in the cooking/ baking section.) No party is complete without a little bit of chocolate right?

We then Bought some Smuckers Uncrustables  (Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches) and powedwered donuts (Cause who doesn’t like a donut?)

Our drinks were simply crushed ice topped with Sprite.

Finally, we added in a million beautiful white cake stands for the food, white mini plates found in the dollar or lower section at Tai Pan, and a furry rug from Ikea and TA-DAH we created a winter wonderland!!!!

My kids loved it and it was such a fun thing to do together inside. They helped with the chocolates and the marshmallows and thought they were pretty cool (which they totally are!)

Now let’s make it a snowy kinda day!!!

We’d love to see what you guys come up with!!! Tag us on Instagram @two_sisters_and_a_story

with love,

Alanna, Natalie & Lyndsie
