We are so glad you stopped by today because Alanna is sharing one of our favorite Spring-time crafts with you all. This Do-It-Yourself Dried Orange Garland makes for one impressive, yet easy to make, project. We love the simplicity of it and the fresh feel and smell of spring it adds to any space. So go ahead and give it a try and let us know what you think!
DYI Dried Orange Garland
Oranges of your choice. (I used naval oranges) about 8 oranges
A sewing needle and string
Knife and cutting board
Start by slicing oranges about 1/4 inch thick and placing them straight on the oven rack. Bake at 200 degrees (F) for about 4 hours, turning every hour or so. I made these in the evening and after the 4 hours I turned off the oven and let them sit there overnight
Once completely dried and cooled you can get a sewing needing and thin tread and string the oranges, and that’s it!
