Alien Watermelon Lollipops

Hey Friends!!! We are super stoked to share with you today a fun lollipop recipe… watermelon aliens. They taste super delightful and the kids love them!!!

Watermelon Alien Lollipops

Ingredients:

2 Cups Granulated Sugar

2/3 Cup Light Corn Syrup

3/4 Cup Water

1 Dram (1tsp.) LorAnn Gourmet Watermelon flavoring

Luster Dust ( Optional)

Edible eyes

Candy Sucker Molds

Pink And white food Coloring (optional)

Directions:

Combine sugar, corn syrup, and water into 2 quart saucepan. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Bring mixture to a boil without stirring.

While the mixture is boiling, spray molds lightly with oil.

Add Food coloring at 260 degress DO NOT STIR. Remove from heat at 300 degrees. After boiling action ceases stir in watermelon flavoring. AVOID rising steam when stirring. Pour syrup into lightly oiled candy mold (you can purchase molds at Hobby Lobby) or onto greased cookie sheet and score with knife to form bite size pieces. Set aside a small portion of candy.  When cool dust with luster dust or powder sugar (optional). heat up the tiny portion of candy you saved and heat it until it’s liquid again, you can carefully dip eyes in it and stick to your suckers, that’s it. Store in an air tight container. Will keep for 2 weeks
