Breakfast Egg Sandwich

Happy Sunday!
Who else looks forward to breakfast?! I know we do! Today, Alanna is sharing one of her amazing recipes with us and we are really excited to share it with all of you! It’s always hard trying to love & enjoy what you eat while trying to keep it healthy…..right?! The struggle sometimes can be so real… Well this recipe is both delicious and nutritious and we can’t wait for you to try it!

Easy Fried Egg Sausage on English Muffins


Yields 4

4 eggs

2 Avocados

4 pre-cooked turkey sausage patties

4 slices of cheddar cheese



4 whole wheat english muffins


Place turkey sausage in a saucepan and follow directions on package ( i usually get the pre-cooked ones so it typically only take 5-7 minutes to heat and brown those) once cooked take off heat and add cheese on top of the sausage. I like to put a lid ontop of the pan to let the cheese melt completely.

Place muffins in toaster and toast.

In a different non stick sauce pan spray pan and heat on medium heat. Cook your eggs to whatever doneness you like. I like mine runny.

When everything is finished, assemble.

I like to cut my avocado at this point and smash it on one slice of the toasted english muffin add  just a touch of sriracha onto the avocado. place watercress ontop of that on the other piece of muffin place sausage and cheese and egg.



Place two slices together and you got a flippin delicious breakfast.  Enjoy while its still warm.
