heavenly Soft Snickerdoodles

Hey Friends Alanna here with one of my ALL. TIME. FAVORITE cookie recipes… Heavenly Soft Snickerdoodles from better homes and garden recipe book.  If you are in need of some comfort food, sugary love, or a mouthful of joy this is the cookie. I sure hope you love them as much as I do!!!!


Heavenly Soft Snickerdoodles
4 Cups of Flour
1 Cup of Butter or Margarine
1/4 Cup of Milk
1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
2 Cups of Sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla
1/2 tsp. of Cream of Tarter
2 Eggs
3 Tablespoons of Sugar
1 tsp. Cinnamon Preheat oven to 375 Degrees Fahrenheit.
Grease a cookie sheet. Stir together flour, soda, cream of tarter, and 1/2 tsp. salt.
In a separate bowl beat butter for 30 seconds; add the 2 Cups of sugar and beat till fluffy. Add eggs, milk, and vanilla; beat well. Add dry ingredients to beaten mixture , stirring till well combined.
Form dough into 3 inch balls ( these cookies will be really big) roll in a mixture of the 3 Tablespoons of Sugar and the cinnamon. Place a few inches apart on a baking sheet. I usually fit 6 onto a big baking sheet pan.

Flatten slightly with the bottom of a drinking glass. Bake in a 375 Degree oven about 10-12 minutes or until light golden brown.
