Hey friends are you getting as excited as us for the Halloween season? We couldn’t wait any longer to serve up some fun skeleton lollipops 🍭 you and your kids will love. Enjoy!!!!
2 Cups Granulated Sugar
2/3 Cup Light Corn Syrup
3/4 Cup Water
1 Dram (1tsp.) LorAnn Gourmet Rootbeer flavoring
skeleton baking sprinkles
black food coloring
Candy Sucker Molds
Combine sugar, corn syrup, and water into a 2 quart saucepans. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Bring mixture to a boil without stirring.
While the mixture is boiling, spray molds lightly with oil and add sprinkles into the molds.
add a few drops of food coloring in at 260 degrees Fahrenheit( Do NOT stir) Remove from heat at 300 degrees. After boiling action ceases stir in Root beer flavoring in the saucepan. AVOID rising steam when stirring. Pour syrup into lightly oiled candy mold (you can purchase molds at Hobby Lobby) or onto greased cookie sheet and score with knife to form bite size pieces. Set aside a small portion of candy. When cool Paint on the Silver paint any design you would like or dust with powder sugar (optional). Store in an air tight container. Will keep for 2 weeks
