Hey friends, we hope you are loving the holiday season. With all the hustle and bustle we thought these lovely peppermint holly lollipops would be the perfect addition to any neighbor gifts or just to have around the house. We sure loved them and hope you Enjoy!!!!
Peppermint Holly Lollipops
2 Cups Granulated Sugar
2/3 Cup Light Corn Syrup
3/4 Cup Water
1 Dram (1tsp.) LorAnn Gourmet peppermint flavoring
Holly Sprinkles (found ours at target)
Candy Sucker Molds
Combine sugar, corn syrup, and water into a 2 quart saucepans. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Bring mixture to a boil without stirring.
While the mixture is boiling, spray molds lightly with oil and add sprinkles into the molds.
Remove from heat at 300 degrees. After boiling action ceases stir in peppermint flavoring and edible glitter in the saucepan. AVOID rising steam when stirring. Pour syrup into lightly oiled candy mold (you can purchase molds at Hobby Lobby) or onto greased cookie sheet and score with knife to form bite size pieces. Set aside a small portion of candy. Store in an air tight container. Will keep for 2 weeks
